Although these images give an idea of our plans, furniture selections and construction documents have changed slightly since these renderings were made. Continue to check back as we will provide the latest images and updates about the makerspace here.
The Arlington Heights Memorial Library makerspace, currently under construction, is located at 112 N. Belmont Avenue, near Recreation Park at the corner of Belmont and Miner. Equipment available will include laser cutters, 3D printers, embroidery, quilting and sewing machines and computers for coding and programming small robots. The makerspace includes a professional-grade commercial kitchen. The makerspace will allow entrepreneurs, small businesses, hobbyists and students to use equipment they may not have the resources or space to own. Bring your own projects and work on them at the makerspace or use our equipment to try something new. It’s the place where you can be a maker.
