The Lab hackerspace-makerspace is a non-profit organization created with the mission to foster a collaborative environment wherein people can explore and create intersections between technology, science, art, and culture. People in the community will have a common space where to meet, share and develop ideas.To expand on these concepts, a hacker space is defined as a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and/or collaborate. A maker space is a community center with tools to achieve those goals. This is a place where we expect to see new, brilliant ideas be born and flourish coming from the heart of every single member in our community: parents and children, students and professionals, anyone with the desire to learn is welcome.
